Here We Go Again

It never fails to come around, year after year..... Jan 1st, the new year resolution to finally take charge, change the lifestyle, start a diet, and get into shape.

This year being a new decade seems to give the resolution added impetus.

For me the question always is "how long 'till you fall of the diet wagon!!"

What is it that makes new year resolutions so very difficult to maintain? I speak to countless new prospective clients during the month of January and initially they all say the right things but so many fall by the wayside.
Personally I think people lack the ability to take responsibility. Whilst it all seems like a good idea, very few want to accept their own role in the process.
When we start working with clients we have them take total responsibility for their health and well being. We tell them it isn't all their own fault (lots of misinformation out there) but they are responsible for what they eat, drink, and the exercise they take. Change the thought process, change the actions, and get better results.....
